Makes it more real, and easier to relate to (aside from the slaughtering of goats).more This really is a cool production though - there are sound effects (like rain during the floods) and its definitely acted, rather than just told. I intend to do the 2nd half of the OT again next year, then the NT. That's the stuff that's easier to skim when you're reading, rather than listening. And I've counted the Israelites repeatedly. And how to properly sacrifice an animal for a food, sin or burnt offering. They describe in *great* detail how the ark of the covenant was made TWICE. I don't mean anything by that - remember this is the early books I'm talking about. Only made it through Job.had to take plenty of breaks cause some of it just isn't that enthralling at 6am.
